LUFC Grayson questions sides professionalism

Leeds United boss Simon Grayson says his side need to be more professional after letting a two goal lead slip and eventually salvaging a point with a stoppage time equaliser.

Leeds have yet to keep a clean sheet this season and have already conceded fifteen championship goals in just eight games.

McCormack`s late equaliser earned Leeds a point and it is their seventh point in three games after falling behind in all three games.

Speaking on Sky Sports, Grayson said, “We`ve done it over the past few weeks. We were down against Palace and Bristol City and we`ve come back again against Brighton.
“There is plenty of spirit and desire in the camp but we can`t keep doing it on a regular basis, to keep looking to be coming from behind in games.
“We have to be professional. The best teams go ahead and see games out and win with clean sheets and we need to start doing it.”

Leeds looked to be cruising at half time thanks to goals from Andy Keogh and Ross McCormack but Brighton came flying out of the traps at the start of the second half.

Striker Craig Mackail-Smith looked like a man on a mission and he gave Brighton hope inside the opening five minutes of the half when he pulled a goal back.

Mackail-Smith was then upended inside the penalty area and Ashley Barnes fired home the equaliser on the hour mark from the spot.

Brighton looked like they had claimed all three points when Mackail-Smith got his second of the night but in true Leeds fashion, they salvaged a point in stoppage time when McCormack scored his second of the evening.
