Simon Grayson is asking for fans to remain patient as he looks to build his side for the 2011/12 season.

The players returned to training yesterday with just one new face in the squad, goalkeeper Paul Rachubka signed last week after being released by Blackpool at the end of the season.

Leeds fans have started to get anxious, with questions asked about the ambitions of those within the club, Grayson asks people to remain patient.

Speaking on the Yorkshire TV Calendar website Grayson said, “It`s a little bit slow at the moment probably people are expecting us to have brought in four or five new players already.
“It`s a quiet market out there at this moment in time, players are keeping their options open and we are waiting to see what we can do within the framework of our budget.”

Whilst Rachubka is the only signing at the club, regulars in the first team, Kasper Schmeichel, Neil Kilkenny and Bradley Johnson have all departed.

Grayson is hoping to bring in some new faces in the next week or so, “People have to remain patient and hopefully in the next ten days or so when it really heats up we will get the players that will make us better than last year,” he continued.
