Leeds United boss Simon Grayson admitted that he`s still got one or two irons in the fire after capturing his first signing of the January transfer window today.

Speaking on Yorkshire Radio, Grayson said, “We`ve got one or two irons in the fire, Kilkenny goes away with Australia and that leaves us a little bit short and we have the option of bringing Adam Clayton back. We are looking at different areas of the pitch and different personnel, trying to bring players to this football club as never been a problem.”

O`Brien as agreed to sign a two and a half year deal at Elland Road after enjoying a successful loan spell since arriving in October.

“I`m delighted that we`ve managed to secure Andy O`Brien on a permanent basis, that`s great news for the football club and beating some major competition, so great all round and try and make us better over the next few weeks with the personnel we bring in,” he continued.

O`Brien will complete his move after his loan period ends on January 4th.
