Leeds United boss Simon Grayson is delighted with the progress Ramon Nunez is making at the club and believes there is more to come.

The Honduran international scored his first goal for the first team in Saturday`s pre season win at Motherwell after some fine close control and Grayson believes that is what they are coming to expect.

Speaking in the Yorkshire Evening Post, Grayson said, “That`s Ramon all over.
“He`s doing what we`re asking him to do and what we believe he`s capable of doing. There`s a talented player in there.
“He`s got great feet, great imagination and a lot of flair.
“You can see his trickery and his skill on the ball and I`m delighted with the way he`s coming on.
“He`s shown us this ability many times in training and that`s why we wanted to keep him here.
“He`s showing it on a slightly bigger stage now and I`d like to think he`ll keep on improving.”

Nunez joined Leeds on a short-term deal last autumn that was eventually extended until the end of the season after impressing in the reserves.

The 25 year old made just two substitute appearances for Leeds last season, his last in the away win at Scunthorpe United.

He joined Scunthorpe towards the end of last season, where he scored three times in eight appearances.
