Simon Grayson once again showed that he will not accept poor performances by his Leeds United team after giving the players a piece of his mind at half time in Tuesday nights 1-1 draw at Grimsby Town.

The major turning point in Leeds season last season was when Grayson locked the players in the dressing room for almost an hour after the dismal 2-0 defeat at Hereford United.

Leeds form turned dramatically after this game with the Whites losing only one of their last fifteen league games.

Speaking on the official website Grayson said “I don`t care if it`s a pre season game, you have to show desire and passion.
I expressed my opinions, but the good thing was we showed a good positive attitude in the second half.”

Leeds will entertain Premiership side Blackburn Rovers in their next pre season game on Saturday at Elland Road as they build up for the opening game of the season.
