Leeds United manager Simon Grayson is not expecting midfielder Max Gradel to be leaving the club during the January transfer window.
Gradel is being linked with a move to Newcastle United, with Newcastle striker Leon Best being part of an exchange deal.
Grayson though doesn`t expect Gradel to be going anywhere in the near future, speaking on Radio Leeds Grayson said, ‘Max is an important part of our team. I don’t expect him to go anywhere.’
The 23 year old has been in fantastic form for Leeds recently scoring eight goals in their last eleven games including scoring in the last four games in a row.
Gradel only joined Leeds in January in a two and a half year deal after a successful loan spell from Leicester City.
