Leeds United boss Simon Grayson is wanting a quick conclusion to the futures of out of contract players Bradley Johnson and Neil Kilkenny.

The midfield pair are both out of contract and are able to leave on free transfers this summer.

Both are still in contract at Leeds until the end of June, but with both players failing to agree new deals at Elland Road, Grayson is hoping that a decision on their future can be sorted quickly so that he can start to plan for the new season. Speaking on the official website, Grayson said, “I want things concluded quickly so we can plan ahead and move forward with certainty.”

Johnson was placed on the transfer list after turning down a new deal at Elland Road back in November.

Despite being placed on the transfer list, Johnson continued to be a key part of Leeds push for promotion making 45 championship appearances, only missing one game due to suspension.

Kilkenny has also been a key contributor to Leeds push for promotion this season. The Australian international missed the whole of January due to international commitments but still went on to make 37 appearances this season.
