Leeds United boss Simon Grayson was quick to admit his side were lucky to take all three points in a below par performance against a hard working Leyton Orient side, but insists it`s the result that counts.

The home side clinched all three points in the final minute of normal time thanks to substitute Max Gradel`s strike.

Speaking on Yorkshire Radio after the game, Grayson said “Ultimately even though the performance wasn`t very good, in a few weeks time people will look at the stats and see we won 1-0 and that`s all that counts.”

The result keeps Leeds six points clear at the top and more importantly, nine points clear of third place and they still have a game in hand on their rivals.

The result was also Leeds twentieth game in a row unbeaten at home since a 2-0 defeat against Carlisle United in January.

It was also a sixth straight victory in a month since suffering their only league defeat of the season at Millwall.

The defence once again showed their resilience and they have only conceded one goal in the same time and only eight in the league all season.
