Leeds United boss Simon Grayson was disappointed to see his side drop two points at Hartlepool after the home side equalised deep into stoppage time.

Grayson was however philosophical when speaking on Hartlepool player he said “We`ve not lost the game, we`ve picked up another point at a difficult place to come to in a game that we should have seen out and won quite comfortably.”

Leeds took the lead halfway through the first half when Becchio scored with a header.

Hartlepool equalised inside the last twenty minutes but it looked like Leeds would be heading back to Leeds with all three points when Becchio put the visitors back in front inside the final ten minutes.

Hartlepool equalised in the third minute of injury time when Sweeney got on the end of a Boyd cross.

With Norwich losing and Charlton drawing it was a fantastic opportunity for Leeds to go level on the top with Norwich and pull further clear of Charlton in the final automatic spot.

Continuing Grayson said “We`ll wake up in the morning and reflect that its another point in our campaign for promotion”.

Leeds now sit two points behind Norwich and four points clear of Charlton with two games in hand on both clubs.
