Simon Grayson summed up his sides 1-0 win over Coventry City as a professional performance.

Leeds had to battle hard to beat a resolute Coventry side after missing a handful of good chances in the first half. Luciano Becchio was the main culprit; he missed two great chances to open the scoring, when he shot wide on both occasions.

Speaking on Yorkshire Radio, Grayson said, “On another day, we could have been three or four up at half time.
“It was a professional performance, we passed it around in the second half and we killed the game off in the last five or six minutes.”

The only goal of the game came in the 56th minute when Davide Somma was in the right place to score for the fourth Championship game in a row.

Despite a few frights, it was a welcome clean sheet for Leeds who have already conceded 47 goals this season in the Championship.
