Leeds United manager Simon Grayson believes the game could have been much different had Leeds been awarded a penalty just before half time when Alan Tate clearly handled a Snodgrass Shot.

Leeds trailed 1-0 at the time and both the referee and his assistant chose to ignore the Leeds appeals and wave away the penalty claims.

Despite being outplayed for long periods of the game, Grayson believes that it was a huge turning point as Leeds have shown in recent months a great ability to come from behind to claim points, even when not playing well.

Speaking on Sky Sports after the game, Grayson said, “We had a massive decision go against us at 1-0, when we should have had a penalty. How it`s not been given I will never know.
“It would have been a major factor in the game, before that we didn`t deserve to be in the game.
“They`ve (the officials) missed a major decision and at 1-1 we would have been right back in it.”

Swansea went on to score twice more in the second half, ironically the first coming from the penalty spot as they ran out easy winners against a lacklustre Leeds.
