Leeds United boss Simon Grayson was delighted with his sides desire and felt that the thoroughly deserved a point at West Ham.

Leeds twice came from behind to claim a point and could have quite easily have taken all three points after dominating the game for long periods after falling behind early on. Speaking in the Yorkshire Post, Grayson said, “From start to finish, we were very good. Certainly, if you take away the first five minutes when West Ham came out of the traps, I thought we did well.
“After the start we had and Cole scoring, we could have buckled but instead we got back into the game and, rightly so, got a point.”

Leeds missed a great chance to get back on level terms after Max Gradel sent his penalty wide of the post.
Ross McCormack eventually brought Leeds level but they were soon behind again when Patrick Kisnorbo fired into his own net, “We had the stuffing knocked out of us when we were on top but again, full credit to the players as they dug deep,” Grayson continued.

The Kisnorbo own goal seemed to affect Leeds but they finally got back into the game in the final ten minutes and Adam Clayton deservedly scored the equaliser in the final minute of normal time.
Grayson was delighted with the desire the side showed to claw themselves back into the game fro a second time when he commented, “They showed tremendous desire and the equaliser (by Clayton) was the least we deserved.
“I am immensely proud of my team, especially when you look on paper at the players we were up against. “

Leeds now seem back on track after the disappointment of losing their opening two league games of the season.
