Leeds United boss Simon Grayson thought the side played well against Brentford, despite them dropping more points in their pursuit of promotion.

Speaking on Sky Sports News Grayson said ” I thought we was good today, the first goal in any football match is vitally important and we didn`t get it. We kept going and got our just rewards in the end by at least getting a point.
On another day we could have won the game quite comfortably.”

Leeds dominated for long periods without ever seriously threatening the Brentford goal. Snodgrass probably had Leeds best effort of the first half in the opening minutes when Szczesny in the Brentford goal tipped his free kick wide.

The visotrs took the lead on the hour when MacDonald`s shot was well saved by Ankergren only for his save to hit Strevens and find it`s way into the back of the net.

Leeds eventually got back on level terms with just under twenty minutes remaining when Beckford tapped in from close range.

Michalik came closest to winning all three points for Leeds in the dying minutes but his shot came back off the post.

With Charlton winning, Leeds have seen the gap between them and Charlton cut to two points in the battle for second place.
