Simon Grayson is looking to extend Leeds unbeaten run until at least Christmas as he continues to set his side new targets.

Leeds have now gone seven unbeaten and climbed back into the play off positions since losing at home to Cardiff in October.

Grayson set his players a challenge to go on an unbeaten run after the Cardiff defeat, speaking on the official website, Grayson said, “A few weeks ago we challenged the players to go on an unbeaten run, and they`ve done that. We`re seven unbeaten going into the Burnley game next weekend.
“What we have to do now is maintain and improve on that going into the Burnley game and then into Christmas.”

Simon Grayson changed Leeds tactics following the Cardiff defeat allowing captain John Howson a much freer role and the decision paid off with a 4-1 win at Scunthorpe United.

They followed this up with a 3-2 win at Coventry City who were enjoying a good unbeaten run at the time.

Leeds problems at Elland Road looked to be continuing when they conceded late on in a 2-2 draw with Hull City.

In their next game at home to Bristol City they managed to win for the first time in five games at Elland Road when Luciano Becchio came off the bench to fire in a hat trick in a 3-1 win.

Hard earned draws at fellow play off challengers Norwich City and Reading followed and they made it seven unbeaten when beating Crystal Palace 2-1 on Saturday.

Leeds good run of form as also seen Grayson nominated for the Championship manager of the month for November.

It`s a great time to be in a good run of form with Leeds facing another six games in twenty four days over the busy Christmas and New Year period, including Queens Park Rangers and Cardiff City who currently fill the automatic promotion places.
