Leeds United boss Simon Grayson is not getting carried away after beating promotion rivals Nottingham Forest on Saturday but he sees it as the start of, what he hopes will be eight straight wins to the end of the season.

Leeds put four past Forest thanks to a stirring second half performance and Grayson is now looking at the games ahead.

Speaking in the Yorkshire Evening Post, Grayson said, “The players can draw confidence from beating a good team.
“But all it`s done is give us one of the eight victories I asked the players to achieve. We`ll see how many we can win and if it it`s eight out of eight then I`ll be ecstatic.

Leeds remained in fifth place after the weekend`s games and six points behind Norwich City in second place who enjoyed a comprehensive 6-0 win over Scunthorpe United.

Leeds still have a tricky looking run in with games against play off rivals Watford, Reading and Burnley to come at Elland Road as well as a trip to Millwall on Saturday.

They finish the season with a visit to champions elect Queens Park Rangers who are still clear at the top of the Championship, having led the table for almost the whole of the season.

In true Leeds fashion, it is sure to be a rollercoaster ride with a number of twists and turns along the way in the run in.
