Leeds United boss Simon Grayson was full of praise for on loan striker Andy Keogh after his hard working display in the 3-0 win over Doncaster Rovers.

Keogh failed to score in the game, although he came within a whisker when his shot came back of the underside of the bar.

Grayson acknowledges the contribution Keogh makes to the Leeds side and he is proving the perfect foil for fellow strike partner Ross McCormack.

Keogh is currently on loan at Elland Road from Wolverhampton Wanderers until the New Year and despite only netting one goal so far this season his contribution to the side hasn`t gone unnoticed.
Speaking on sky Sports, Grayson said, “He must be doing something very good because when you have Luciano Becchio, who was our top goalscorer last year and Mikael Forssell, two prove players on the bench, then he`s doing something well.
“What he does is he works and works and works.”

It is Keogh`s second time at Elland Road, having started his career with Leeds before being offloaded by former manager Kevin Blackwell.

Keogh admitted when he arrived at Elland Road that he had unfinished business with the whites and was looking to prove himself to the Leeds faithful.

His good form since his return to Leeds saw him earn a recall to the Republic of Ireland squad for their Euro 2012 qualifiers last week, although he was an unused player in both their games.
