After a fantastic run of results in March, Simon Grayson must be a leading contender for the Powerade League One manager of the month.

Leeds have played six games in the month, drawing two and winning four.

They started the month with a 1-1 draw at Oldham, a game they dominated for long periods but eventually had to come from behind to take a point.

Next up was a trip to Bristol Rovers, Leeds looked on course for all three points until a last minute equaliser from Jo Kuffour earned Rovers a point.

Leeds then had two home games in a week, first up they destroyed Yeovil 4-0 with Jermaine Beckford scoring a hat trick. Then came a late winner again from Beckford to see off Swindon.

The Whites finally got over their away day jinx next but only just at Crewe!
Leading 3-0 at half time thanks to goals from Kilkenny, Becchio and Snodgrass and Crewe down to ten men, they found themselves hanging on at the end and only a fantastic save from Ankergren stopped Crewe claiming a point.

In the last game of the month Leeds entertained fellow promotion rivals MK Dons, once again it was that man Beckford with two goals to give Leeds all three points.

Grayson`s most likely competitor for the award will be Peterborough boss Darren Ferguson whose side have won six out of six in the month.

Kenny Jackett at Millwall has also won six games in the month, their only defeat came in the home defeat against Leicester.

Some people may hope that Grayson is overlooked for the award has often the manager that wins it his team then go on a bad run.

Chris Kamara and a supposed panel of experts will be making the decision in early April although they will name a shortlist for the award first.
