Leeds United manager was critical of his side after a poor performance in the 2-0 defeat at Sheffield United.

Speaking on Yorkshire Radio after the game, Grayson said, “I`m hugely disappointed and frustrated. We got out of the game what we deserved and that was nothing.
“We never got going, we knew it was going to be a scrap and we never did any of the things we are capable of doing.
“They wanted the result more than us which is hugely disappointing because we was fifth in the division before the game today, looking to get three points to put pressure on the other teams, but we didn`t compete.”

Leeds failed to muster a shot on target in the first half as Kasper Schmeichel kept Leeds in the game with a number of saves.

Poor defending cost Leeds dear in the second half when firstly Eric Lichaj put through his own goal and then Bjorn Helge Riise was given time and space to score a second.

Grayson was critical of Leeds lack of teamwork throughout the game, “To many of our team today played as individuals and not as a team.
“We defended sloppy as a team and a little bit lazy when we conceded both our goals,” he continued.

Leeds now have a two-week break to prepare themselves for their next Championship fixture when they entertain another side in the play off positions Nottingham Forest.
