Leeds United could receive around £1.5 million from Everton for youngster Luke Garbutt after a meeting by the Professional Football Compensation Committee.

The PFCC ruled that the Premiership club should pay £600,000 initially for the 16 year old and another £150,000 each time he reaches 5,10, 20 , 30 and 40 appearances which could reach a maximum of £750,000.

If Garbutt who is the England under 17 captain earns a full England cap they will also have to pay a further £200,000.

Leeds will also receive 20% of any future profit made from a sale from Everton.
