Four Leeds United players who are still in contract have been told that they can actively look for a new club.

Lubomir Michalik, Tresor Kandol, Andy Robinson and Alan Sheehan have all been told they don`t have a future at Elland Road.

Michalik has struggled to hold down a regular first team place since originally joining the club on loan during the 2006/07 season.

The Slovakian rejoined Leeds during the January transfer window during the 2007/08 season and made a big contribution in helping Leeds to the Play off final.

However he as struggled to become a regular in the side this season, making just 19 appearances.

Tresor Kandol looked to be on his way out of Elland Road during the 2008/09 season when he spent the full season on loan at Millwall and then Charlton.

Kandol returned to Leeds last summer and worked his way back into the plans of Simon Grayson with some good displays for the reserves.

Shortly after returning to the first team set up he received a three match suspension for an altercation with a Yeovil player at Elland Road after the final whistle.

He then needed time away from the club for personal reasons and then an injury ruled him out until March.

Kandol returned to the squad and came off the bench in the draw at Huddersfield in February.

In only his third game back, he was sent off after only twenty seconds at Norwich and was not seen near the first team squad again this season.

Andy Robinson has struggled to work his way into Simon Grayson`s side this season, making only seven substitute appearances and he finished the season on loan at Tranmere Rovers.

Alan Sheehan hasn`t looked part of Grayson`s plans since the manager arrived at the club in December 2008.

He finished the 2008/09 season on loan at Crewe Alexandra and as spent the whole of this season on loan at Swindon Town.
