Former England manager Steve McLaren is the early favourite to be installed as the next manager at Leeds United.

Leeds are looking for another new manager after sacking Thomas Christiansen on Sunday evening after a run of seven games without a win.

McLaren was in the clubs directors box for the clash with Cardiff City this weekend, a game that proved to be the final game for head coach Thomas Christiansen, as they went down to a 4-1 defeat.

McLaren is 8/11 on to replace McLaren.

Former Leeds boss Simon Grayson is next in the betting at 3/1. Grayson, who spent four-years in charge at Elland Road before being sacked in 2012, was quoted at the weekend as being interested in a return to Leeds.

Former Leeds midfielder and Scotland manager Gordon Strachan is next in the betting at 11/2.

Barnsley boss Paul Heckingbottom (6/1) and former Watford manager Marco Silva (10/1) are next in the market.

Another former Leeds boss David O`Leary, who was also recently at Elland Road, is 25/1 to replace Thomas Christiansen.
