Leeds have cooled speculation regarding the signing of striker Warren Feeney.

Feeney was rumoured to be at Elland Road earlier this week after undertaking a medical before signing for the Whites.

Leeds boss Simon Grayson speaking on the official website said “I’ve spoken to 10 or 15 players and Warren Feeney is just one of them, but as it stands he won’t be a Leeds United player.’

United fans are growing increasingly worried surrounding the non activity at Elland Road so far this summer.

The Whites have so far only signed defender Jason Crowe from Northampton Town whilst Jonathon Douglas, David Lucas, Peter Sweeney and Frazer Richardson have all been released.

What`s more worrying is leading goalscorer Jermaine Beckford has been placed on the transfer list and interest in midfield starlet Fabian Delph refuses to die down.

With the players back in training and the new season only a month away fans await any news of new players arriving at the club.
