Vital Leeds member Tiny T gives us his match ratings after Leeds narrow 1-0 victory over struggling Swindon Town.

Ankergren 7

Comfortable afternoon rarely troubled.

Douglas 6

Against the weaker teams he’s done well, but the test will be MK Dons, if he’s picked in that role.

Naylor 7
One or two moments of trouble, distribution at times poor.

Marques 8 Star man

Good in defence and covered for others mistakes, back to his best in this game.

Parker 7

Gains in confidence with every game, good defensively.

Snodgrass 6

Better game and two good first half attempts, dead ball delivery poor rarely beat the first man, provider for the goal though.

Kilkenny 5

Back to normal after my praise in the last few games, too many sideways balls, little if any penetration, struggled against the tough tackling.

Howson 7

Most of the good in midfield came from Jonny, forced Keeper into good save in second half, got better as the game progressed.

Delph 6

Not one of his better games, rarely got going, think the boy could do with a rest to charge his batteries

Becchio 6

Caused problems with his control, second half saw him kicked on numerous occasions and a better ref would have sorted it out.

Beckford 4

An off day even though he scored, seemed uninterested for long periods. Red card means misses game at Crewe through his own stupidity, warned over his back chat at 1-0 up with the game all but over he has a go over an offside decision not clever was it!

Subs
Johnson not on long enough

Dickinson not on long enough
Grella not on long enough

A game where Larry should have made his Subs sooner, Leeds had the ball enough but showed little penetration, both strikers had to drop deep and play got too condensed.

Our midfield was too narrow as both Delph and Snodgrass tucked in too much, we need width to create chances, we also need a ball winner and some height as we lose the ball against teams who hit the high ball.

Three points gained, we could have easily had the sucker punch and lost.
Larry use the subs sooner don’t do a Blackwell and dither!
