Vital Leeds contributor Tiny T gives us his regular player ratings, this time for the 3-0 home defeat against Swindon Town.

Higgs 6

At fault along with Hughes for the first goal, by being beaten at his near post. Distribution average and his kicking game was weak. No chance with either the 2nd or 3rd goals though

Hughes 3
Again at fault for the first as he was with the two goals Millwall scored in the last home game. When will Simon Grayson realise that Hughes is bar useless, cannot cross, defend etc, time for, come in No22 your time is finally up.

Naylor 5
Comfortable when we were on top, but lacking in pace and confidence, his only distribution is send it usually by Air Mail. At fault for the third goal.

Collins 6
Steady performance, but left short by those supposedly there to help keep the opposition out.

Lowry 3
Like Hughes all at sea, gets a nose bleed if he goes over the half way line.

Snodgrass 4
All over the place, crossing if any was poor, one chance and skied it, playing with a lack of confidence and it shows.

Kilkenny 4
When we were on top in the first half always wanted the ball, as the game wore on he disappeared from sight, half said where he’s concerned ‘ when the going gets tough, Killa goes missing ‘

Doyle 4
Largely anonymous, fronted up to old boy Douglas and lost out big time.

Howson 6 Star man
Willing to put the yards in and never stopped, earning a booking for an average tackle. First half was his best, rolled up his sleeves and got stuck in, but lacked support.

Grella 5
Huffed and puffed on a rare start, but doesn’t get in were it matters, he’s a striker, so get in the box.

Beckford 3
A half chance in the first half, and a couple of other attempts, but he lacks heart and now its time for the bench, though who’d start in his place is a mystery.

Subs

Parker 6

Nice to see him back, he should now start Monday

Gradel 3
Offered little.

Dickov 3
White flag ran up the mast, game over.

Summary

A sprightly start but the goal never came, bad defending and Keeping saw us one down and the heads dropped, game over.

Swindon came with a game plan, solid in every department and as the game went on Douglas took over with simple passing to put us on the back foot.

The team lacked shape, no width and square pegs in round holes all over the park.

The call for Simon Grayson to be sacked is ludicrous, seven games left is no time for this to happen and who would we get?
He is not a bad manager, though he must take some of the blame for what is happening as should the players.

I did not agree with the booing at the end of the game, and only four or five players came towards the Kop at the end to thank us for there support. its the ones that didn’t who don’t really care for the club.

We have Sanchez-Watt on loan, so flaming well use him or send him back to arsenal. if I was Wenger I wouldn’t be happy, he could sit on the arsenal bench rather than warm ours

21points available so lets stay behind the team, recriminations should be left to the end of the season when we know what division we will be in.

Heads up and keep the faith.
