LUFC Fans view v Reading

Tiny T gives us his usual fans view from the games at Elland Road.

After I had the misfortune of doing the report from Watford last weekend when we was lucky to get away with a draw in a totally inept performance, I was glad to hand this one back over to Tiny.

Lonergan 4
At fault slightly for the goal, maybe he should have come, kicking game off.

Connolly 3
Given a testing time by the Reading winger and rarely got forward.

Lees 4
Troubled but stuck to his task, too much lump it forward though.

Kisnorbo 3
Another at fault for the goal. Passing under no pressure awful and just lumped it whenever he got it.

White 4
Saved two goals at least, at fault for the goal, he needs to improve his balls into the opposing area.

Snodgrass 4
Tried hard but wandered inside too much when we needed width, didn’t see enough of the ball.

Clayton 2
Off form, and rightly subbed. He has been like this for a number of games now

Brown 3
Another who struggled, a couple of decent challenges, again rightly subbed.

Pugh 3
Struggled like the rest to make a mark on the game.

McCormack 4
He never got sight of goal. He was mystifyingly substituted when we needed a goal.

Becchio 3
He spent most of the game being knocked about by two rugged defenders. He seemed to lose heart.

Substitutes
Keogh 3

Never going to change a game and doesn’t score goals.

Vayrynen 3
Game was lost when he came on

Sam 3
Nothing to work off.

Summay
Grayson got this woefully wrong, too many off form players occupying places they do not deserve. Mysteriously subs the leading goalscorer when we needed a goal.
Reinforcements are needed urgently and not loan signings, we need to splash a little cash to improve the team not the squad.

Today was one of the worst performances I’ve personally seen in nearly 50 years of attending matches home and away. It is time for Grayson to get a grip or leave. The team he has built is sub-standard. The little quality we have will soon be snapped up and at the end of yet another dismal failure who’ll want to join.
It is time for Grayson to grow a pair. Go to the Chairman and to his players and demand better from both
Why do all the keepers who have played this season have a problem with distributing the ball quickly and to the right area of the pitch?

On a positive note, it was the last home fixture this calendar year with the next home game on January 2nd 2012. Let us make Elland Road a fortress from then

Thanks for your thoughts Tiny.
