Vital Leeds regular contributor Tiny T gives us his frank and personal views on the player performances in Monday nights 2-1 victory over Norwich City.

Higgs 5
Nearly fumbled the ball in to his own net early on, a la Gary Sprake, had to be replaced with reoccurrence of his thigh injury.

Crowe 5
Not as good defensively as when he attacks and he did little of that, didn’t look fit and struggled but kept going.

Naylor 6
Early booking and injury, came back after treatment and stuck to the task but regularly beaten in the air.

Bromby 6
Looks more comfortable at Centre Half than at Right Back, troubled all evening by tough forward line but had never say die attitude needed.

Hughes 3
A liability at the back, gave the ball away too easily, our weak link.

Snodgrass 5
Great corner for the goal, but doesn’t put himself about like last season. Crossing is poor to none existent and not quick enough, when we attack quickly to deliver early, he always wants at least one extra touch.

Doyle 5
Over run in the middle as Norwich bossed the show.

Howson 4
Like Doyle overrun and possibly his worst game in a White shirt.

Johnson 7
The pick of the midfield and a stunning header for the opener keep it up Bradley. A different player this season.

Vokes 6
Useful first start with nice touches and not afraid to shoot, great addition for next 3 months, how did Larry get him ? Needs more game time to improve match fitness

Beckford 7 Star man
Scored the winner after spurning some early chances, got stuck in and won headers, amazing.

Subs
Ankergren 6
Flapped at crosses as we know he can, but great saves to keep the score level, which allowed us to claim 3 points at the end.

Kandol 6
Got stuck in and started to turn the tide holding the ball and putting pressure on the Norwich back line.

Gradel 7
Turned the match inside out, ran at the defence at pace, just what we need. Would start him ahead of Snodgrass, or remove Hughes, Johnson to Left Back and put Gradel wide left.

A game we could easily have lost as we were under pressure for long periods.

Vokes will get better with game time and will get goals, Kandol is more useful than Enoch and with the pace of Gradel on the Left we may see some better signs than in recent games.

We need a Left Back desperately as Hughes isn’t up to it and another Right Back, why did we let Fraser go?

Kisnorbo was missed last night as he is the leader and organiser at the back, lets hope he’s well for the Millwall game.

The fourth official was useless supposed to keep control from the touchline, the Norwich keeper received coaching during the game from behind the goal and in a stoppage of play the goal keeping coach came onto the field of play to talk to him, didn’t think this was allowed?

Disappointed with the crowd last night, know it was live on Sky but the team needs its fans on nights like this. If you can’t turn up for a top six game how many will be there against a big Club like Yeovil next time out?

As always thanks for your own and sometimes controversial views Tiny.
