Tiny T gives us his usual fans view, this time after the lacklustre performance against Middlesbrough on New Years Day.

Schmeichel 6
Little to do and no chance with the goal, distribution needs work, he spent more time lumping the ball forward.

Connolly 6
Tidy if unspectacular, didn’t really get forward though.

O’Brien 6 Star man
Solid and organised the back four, no own goal this game so another positive. Signed for 2.5 years, thank god.

Collins 5
Didn’t pick up Wheater for the goal, but not troubled much, an assist for our goal.

Hughes 3
Rightfully subbed though why he played when Parker is fit is beyond anyone`s comprehension, can’t tackle and wrong side when defending as well.
Sorry for those of you who love Headless, a 10 he was superb and hopefully someone will realise he’s worth £1.50 and pay the fee in milk bottle tops.

Snodgrass 5
Marked out of the game for long periods and took some punishment, odd glimpses of his recent form.

Howson 5
Not used to his best, needs to be further forward, with McCormack playing played too deep. Not effective enough when on the ball.

Johnson 5
Another who played too deep and gave the ball away at times.

Gradel 4
Ineffective and no real zip, starved of the ball.

McCormack 4
How did he miss ??? Link role never really happened today.

Becchio 4
Got the goal to continue the run, but never beat Wheater in the air as we played lump it.

Substitutes

Sam 5

Lively compared to Gradel.

Kilkenny 6
Got us on the ball more.

Watt
Sublime ball for McCormack.

Summary
As a game we never really got going until injury time, too much lump it and gave the ball away easily. The linkman role never worked and the midfield sat too deep, with Becchio stranded up front.

The goal was given away yet again, Collins should have picked up Wheater`s run, again concentration levels need to be better at set pieces.

The five minutes injury time was a god send with the equaliser and a miss from McCormack, he’ll have nightmares over that one.
The first two subs we named before the game started, Simon Grayson being predictable.

Play like that again on Tuesday and we will be walloped.

Thanks Tiny for your views
