LUFC Fans view v Leicester City

Tiny T gives us his fans view on another lacklustre display at Elland Road as Leeds United players do not wear the shirt with pride.

Brown 4
Stood little chance with either goal but does not inspire me with confidence.

Connelly 4
Troubled night like all the rest of the defence, stuck to his task unlike some of the others around him.

Naylor 2
Captain Clodhopper does it again, misjudged a ball and they score a second goal. Slow ponderous and his only distribution is whack it long, Taxi – time to go.

Collins 4
Another not up to the mark and probably the best player in the back four.

McCartney 4
Struggled when Somma went wide left as he received little or no support.

Snodgrass 4
Never really got involved and his distribution was poor, though he was not alone in that respect.

Faye 3
For the defensive midfielder he did little or no defending, easily pushed off the ball, weak in the tackle and slow across the ground.

Howson 4
An odd glimpse but rarely in the game, needs to get more involved or time for a rest.

Watt 3
Carrying an injury and it told.

Becchio 4
Worked hard and got a goal, but no support against a solid back four.

Somma 2
Did absolutely nothing, played wide left and mostly uninvolved. Needs to up the work rate and try to win the odd header, Beckford Mk 2 ?????????

Substitutes

Johnson 3
Another of the midfielders who struggled.

Gradel 3
One decent cross for Becchio, it about sums him up.

Kilkenny 3
Will never change a game, doesn’t move the ball fast enough.

Summary

Outplayed – YES
Outthought – YES
Outfought – YES and this is the most important one, no battle or spark from any of them.

The worst display for a long time, no one wanted to put themselves on the line. Grayson must take some of the blame, why he left Somma on for 90 minutes is beyond me. Would have liked to have seen Nunez given a chance rather than the same subs used week in week out, none of them have the ability to change a match.
Defensively from 1-11 we never really got going though the two strikers had little to feed off.

No one is a leader of the side and there is little communication or direction from anyone, time for a shake up.
If we play like this next Monday against Cardiff we well get a right stuffing.

Thanks Tiny for your views, the common consensus of those that went is that the side lacked any sort of passion and desire, which is just not good enough from anyone pulling on the Leeds shirt.
