Regular Vital Leeds contributor Tiny T gives us his usual frank and honest ratings of the players in the dour goalless draw with Charlton.

Ankergren 7
Distribution was haphazard but the wind was bad, some good saves especially a double as Charlton pressed in the second half.

Bromby 5
Troubled by the pace down the right, and does not get forward to support, as the fullback should.

Naylor 5
Troubled by a lively forward line and the wind, a few telling tackles but distribution poor.

Kisnorbo 8 Starman
Without him we would have lost a rock at the heart of the defence nothing gets past him.

Hughes 4
Gives the opposition an advantage as he gives the ball straight back to them or knocks it out, no support either when we attack

Howson 6
Lively in the first half but is wasted out wide, needs to get back into the middle of the park quickly.

Doyle 5
A poor game from him, struggled at times and distribution poor, needs Howson alongside him.

Kilkenny 4
Now we know why he doesn`t start, first good pass to set up Beckford but struggles when the going gets tough.

Johnson 6
Good when on the left of midfield, wasted when moved backwards. We need him attacking.

Beckford 4
Needed to work harder, and should have buried at least one in the 1st half.

Becchio 6
Missed when he went off, lets hope he’s back quickly.

Subs

Showunmi – got his boots on the right feet, and his shirt on the right way round.
Robinson – Flatters to deceive
Grella -short on confidence

Another game of square pegs in round holes.

Reasonable first half showing but back to the walls in the second as we gave the ball away too often for my liking.

The side needs width on the right and two proper full backs. Up front we’ll struggle if Becchio is out for a while as the back up is not good enough, even I thought Kandol should have come on when Becchio got injured, must have been a nightmare !!!

With 16 days before our next League fixture we can get the tired legs refreshed and some of the injuries sorted.

Thanks as usual Tiny for your comments.
