Tiny T has the unenviable task once again of trying to sum up another poor result. This time it`s after the 4-0 home defeat by Cardiff City.

Schmeichel 5
At fault for the first goal, what was he and Bruce doing? Distribution out of sorts, stood little chance with any of the other goals. Nice to have him back.

Connolly 5
Had the task of looking after Bellamy and did a reasonable job. Left exposed by a lack of protection from Snodgrass at times.

Bruce 5
Along with Schmeichel was at fault for the first goal, apart from that he did reasonable job against a very pacey and experienced front line.

Collins 5
Again, another who struggled against the pace and movement, stuck to his task but seconnd best.

McCartney 5
Exposed when Johnson wandered inside, again pace and movement undid him. Got forward when he could to help out the attack.

Snodgrass 4
He seems to be struggling with his fitness, crossing poor. Wandered inside too much, making the midfield too narrow. A stunning second half free kick.

Howson 7 Star man
Fought a lone battle at times to get us going forward. Put the work in at the back and in support of the front line.

Faye 6
Better first half than second, should have shot in the first half when plenty of time to do so. Faded in the second half, another lacking fitness.

Johnson 5
Came in off the line too much. Left McCartney exposed on the counter attack. Faded in the second half.

Becchio 4
Played most of the game up front by himself, as Somma was non-existent. Little to feed off, nothing came in from the wings.

Somma 2
Another lacklustre display, he will be worried about whether he starts when Paynter is fit. Needs to up his work rate and put himself about.

Substitutes
Nunez 5

Lively, not afraid to go for goal.

Gradel 5
Offered width, but the game was over by then.

Clayton
Not really on long enough to judge.

Summary

A reality check for those who thought we would go up this season, a very classy Cardiff side who have been around at this level for a while They will be pushing for promotion this season, played solid at the back and attacked with width and pace.

A better performance from Leeds but undone by a better side.

The wide men spent too much time cutting inside and the final delivery was poor from both.

Don’t think Cardiff were four goals better than us but a side that punishes defensive lapses as with the first goal.

Time for the back four to be given an extended run and stop the chopping and changing all the time.

Wide players need to spend time on delivery into the box and staying wide.

Becchio needs a partner who’ll put the work in, Somma does not and has been in effective for the last few games. Somma as an eye for goal but will not put his head in and easy to defend against when the going is tough.

At this level and the next, concentration is paramount and unfortunately, we tend to switch off, when we do, the opposition invariably score.

Thanks once again Tiny for your views
