Tiny T once again gives us his views of the Leeds players performance, this time in the narrow 2-1 win over Bristol City.

Lonergan 7

Another decent performance and again had to keep us in the game, easy stop from a poorly taken penalty.

Lees 6
Steady if unspectacular

Kisnorbo 4
Keeps being beaten for pace.

O’Dea 5
Seems to go to sleep at times and only knows were Row Z is most of the time.

White 7 Star man
Good game for Aidy, never shirked across the defence. Left exposed by whoever played in front of him but defended well.

Snodgrass 4
Yet to get going, another game mostly passed him by. He needs to up the work rate.

Howson 5
Struggled again but not helped with the wide midfielders going missing.

Clayton 6
Great goal, strong in the tackle but again struggled as asked to do too much in the middle of the park.

Nunez 2
Missing in action.

Keogh 4
Little to work off and when a chance came doesn’t have a go. Is he another Billy in front of goal.

McCormack 4
Little else but scored, in the right place for the Becchio knock down.

Substitutes

Becchio 5

He lifted the crowd on his introduction, nice knockdown for the goal.

Forssell 4
Little effect but robust when needed.

Bromby 5
Good long throw got us the winner.

Summary
Disjointed display, a flying start that went backwards after a couple of chances to extend the lead were missed.

The midfield struggled again as both the Central midfielders had a lot of ground to cover with Snodgrass still off form and Nunez missing in an area that urgently requires attention. The watching Lloyd Sam must be wondering how he is not getting a game the way these two are playing.

The back four again struggled with Kisnorbo red carded after a poor kick out from Lonergan, and O’Dea missing his tackle.
White was the standout player at the back all game for me. Can we not try Lees at centre half, his more natural position.

With little quality ball to feed off the front two struggled all game, no quality from wide either.

The bench looks lopsided as well with no wide man available for a change at home. Do we really need to have a substitute keeper, as it is a rarity that a Keeper is injured?

Grayson’s subs were strange. Why not be positive against a poor team. Yes, bring on Bromby but go three at the back, four across the middle and two up front. White could have played on the left side of midfield.

A very lucky 3 points but it proves we do not give up. Two pieces of quality saw us get the win.

Looking forward, it is two tough games coming up with Salford Quays on Tuesday and Brighton on Friday night. Both will be tough but will Grayson field a weakened side on Tuesday with the League is more important.

Thanks for your thoughts Tiny.
