Vital Leeds United member Tiny T gives us his views once again on the player performances, this time in our last League game of the season against Northampton Town.

A 3-0 victory to Leeds sent Northampton down into League Two and also saw Leeds record their eleventh home win in a row, just one short of the club record.

Ankergren 7

Steady afternoon for Casper though didn’t really have a save to make.

Douglas 7

Read the game well, got forward when allowed.

Naylor 6

Troubled by the Constantine`s height, turned into a wrestling match at times, but clean sheet shows the defence held firm.

Marques 6

Another troubled by Constantine, stuck to the task and some timely interventions.

Parker 7 Star man
Comfortable afternoon rarely troubled and got forward well to support the attack, an assist for the opener with a peach of a cross for Becchio.

Robinson 6

Rarely impresses when starts and in and out of today`s game. Would have had a zero but for Snodgrass late goal, I had Becchio to score 1st and 3-0 at 28-1, he missed a sitter.

Howson 7

Toiled in midfield with his usual work rate and supplied a few good balls, rarely troubled.

Kilkenny 6

Not as impressive as of late but carrying a knock, so forgive him this one.

Delph 7

Nearly scored the opener with a screamer that just missed, steady game on his return.

Becchio 7

Scored the opener with a good header, produced his usual performance of graft and guile, linked play well.

Beckford 7

Number 34 and worked hard for the team, neat touches and held the ball up when needed.

Subs

Snodgrass 7
Stunning scissor kick for his goal which saved Robinson and my bet. Also close with a free kick, supplied the pass for Beckford`s goal.

Richardson 6
Nice to see the Captain back, one or two good runs and a couple of crunching tackles, may need him over the next two or three matches.

Grella 6
Lively and so nearly scored twice but blocked out.

A steady performance against a side who offered little and an end of season party atmosphere saw Leeds to an easy win and send Northampton down.

Stunning finishing by the leading goal scorers at the Club, roll on the play-offs.
