LUFC Expect changes at Stockport

Simon Grayson may be ready to make changes for the clash at Stockport County on Monday.

Andy Hughes and Richard Naylor both suffered injuries against Hartlepool and are both doubtful for Monday.

With Leeds already having played seven games this month already, the thought of two games in three days ahead of the FA Cup trip to Old Trafford, may make Grayson make a number of changes with a huge squad at his disposal against a struggling Stockport County side.

Speaking on the official website Grayson said “I would expect there to be a couple of fresh faces at Stockport, but at the same time, with the Manchester United game coming up nobody wants to miss out”.

Grayson`s already done it once this season when he turned out a much changed side at Oldham Athletic and his selections were justified when they came away with a 2-0 victory.

The game is already a doubt on Monday with the Edgeley Park pitch under snow and them appealing for fans to help clear it.

With sub zero temperatures forecasted for Sunday night and the game taking place at 12pm the Stockport ground staff will have to work hard with hot air blowers to be put on the pitch once it is clear of snow.

With Leeds already one game behind most clubs and the Tranmere Rovers game on the 3rd of January off due to cup commitments, Leeds will be desperate to avoid another game having to be rearranged and a fixture backlog.
