Leeds United boss Simon Grayson is looking forward to welcoming back his injured players back to the fold in the near future.

Both Ben Parker and Patrick Kisnorbo have been missing since last season, whilst Robert Snodgrass and Billy Paynter both picked up injuries during pre season.

Grayson has already said that they are monitoring the shin injury to Billy Paynter on a daily basis.

Snodgrass, who was the victim of an ugly tackle in the win in Norway against SK Brann, is still out with a knee injury.

Speaking on the official website, Grayson said, “Snoddy is seeing another specialist in a few days.
“He`s making good progress and hopefully he will be back sooner rather than later.”

Ben Parker had a terrible season last term with injury. He suffered an injury inside the opening thirty minutes of the season and did not return until April. In his first start for the side against MK Dons, he suffered a further injury that ruled him out for the remainder of the season.

Parker is hoping to be running again next week as he works his way back to full fitness.

Patrick Kisnorbo has been missing since March when he suffered an Achilles injury against Millwall and was given an expected return date of October.
