Leeds United boss Simon Grayson has admitted former Liverpool goalkeeper Jerzy Dudek is on the clubs radar.

Leeds released Shane Higgs at the end of the season and recently sold Kasper Schmeichel to Leicester City.

The club have already brought in Paul Rachubka from Blackpool and are on the lookout for another goalkeeper

Speaking in the Yorkshire Evening Post , Grayson said, “He`s on a list of players in that position who are available and might be a proposition. He`s one of half-a-dozen who are on the radar and might or might not happen. We`ve got two or three really good options and we`re just waiting to make the right decision in terms of the player`s ability and the finance package to go with it all.”

The 38 year old is out of contract at Real Madrid, after making just a handful of appearances in four years, after failing to remove Iker Casillas as the regular number one.

The Polish international is well known to English fans having spent six years with Liverpool where he made over 100 appearances and helped the club win the 2005 Champions League Final, making two saves in the penalty shoot out.

Leeds have been linked with a large number of goalkeepers since the departure of Kasper Schmeichel, including Lee Grant (Burnley), Alex Smithies (Huddersfield Town), Fraser Forster (Newcastle United), Jason Brown (Blackburn Rovers), David Stickdale (Fulham) and Tomasz Kuszczak (Manchester United).
