Leeds United striker Souleymane Doukara has won the EFL Championship goal of the month for January.

Doukara scored with a fierce volley in the 2-0 win against Nottingham Forest.

The striker had only been on the pitch a few minutes when the ball dropped to him on the edge of the box with many fans likening his goal to the one scored by Tony Yeboah against Liverpool in 1995.

  • Congratulations ‘Douks’……
A well deserved decoration for a sorely underestimated (by some) Player…..
Takes his ‘Goal Tally’ to 5, second highest in the side, from a No.1 Reserve situation and a dearth of ‘Starts’…….
