Fabian Delph has missed out on the League One player of the month award finishing third behind Ricky Lambert of Bristol Rovers and Joel Porter of Hartlepool United.

The young midfielder has been influential in the Leeds side this season and has won a number of man of the match awards.

These performances have brought him to the attention of a host of Premiership clubs with Arsenal, Sunderland and West Brom said to be interested in a six million pound bid for the 18 year old.

Ex Leeds forward Rob Hulse won the award in the Championship for his performances with Derby County during October.
