Leeds United defender Alex Bruce was involved in a car accident on the M1 on Thursday.
The defender was on his was to training when he was forced to swerve after a number of vehicles in front of him were having difficulty in snowy conditions and skidding on the carriageway.
Bruce careered off the road and across a grass verge before hitting a road sign.
The 26 year old walked away from the accident unhurt and was the only one travelling in his vehicle but his car was a write off.
