Leeds Carling Cup first round clash at Elland Road against Lincoln City has been confirmed as Tuesday 10th August with a 7.45pm kick off.
The whites enjoyed a decent cup run in the competition last season before going down rather unluckily to Liverpool in the third round 1-0.
It will be the first time the two clubs have met in a competitive match since the 1960/61 season when Leeds ran out 7-0 winners at Elland Road in a Division Two clash.
Davide Somma who enjoyed a very successful loan spell at the Imps last season who be unavailable for the game, he will be sitting out the second game of a three-match ban for his sending off in Lincoln`s last game of the season at Macclesfield Town.
Leeds have announced that they will be charging £12 for adults and £6 for concessions.
These are the same prices Leeds are charging for their pre season friendly at Elland Road with Wolverhampton Wanderers, Nice to see the club have used a bit of common sense by reducing the price of a ticket to help fill the stadium.
