Leeds United winger Stuart Dallas is a major injury doubt for Northern Ireland in midweek after suffering a foot injury in the World Cup play-off clash against Switzerland.
Dallas suffered a foot injury in the opening five minutes of the first leg clash at Windsor Park and despite battling on, he was eventually forced off in the opening five minutes of the second half.
The injury means Dallas could face a race against time to be fit for the second leg and possibly Leeds clash with Middlesbrough on November 19th.
It was a bad evening for Northern Ireland, who lost the first leg 1-0 after a controversial penalty decision, went against them. The ball looked to come off the back of Corey Evans but the referee had no hesitation in pointing to the spot and Ricardo Rodriguez fired home to give Switzerland a huge advantage ahead of the second leg in Basel on Sunday.
Northern Ireland are hoping to qualify for the World Cup finals for the first time since 1986.
