Leeds travel to Crewe on Saturday hoping to put to an end to their poor away form this season.

Leeds have won only two of their last eleven away games in all competitions yet still find themselves inside the play off places thanks to their good home form

Form

Crewe
The Railwaymen drew 1-1 with Bristol Rovers at home in midweek.

Crewe have won seven of their last ten games, at the end of January they was rock bottom of League One and seven points form safety but their run of good form since has seen them rise to 18th.

Leeds
The Whites beat Swindon at Elland Road on Saturday thanks to a late strike from leading goalscorer Jermaine Beckford, unfortunately he was sent off soon afterwards and will miss this clash.

Last time out away Leeds were denied all three points at Bristol Rovers when substitute Jo Kuffour scored a last minute equaliser.

Leeds are now unbeaten in six and sit in fifth place in League One.

History

The two clubs have only ever met three times at Gresty Road with one win a piece and one draw.

The last time they met at Gresty Road was in front of the live Sky TV cameras last season when Jermaine Beckford scored the only goal of the game to give Leeds all three points.

When the two clubs met at Elland Road earlier in the season Leeds scored some wonderful goals in a comprehensive 5-2 victory, long range efforts from Delph, Sheehan and Robinson could all be contenders for goal of the season.

Leeds were actually winning 5-0 going into added time when Lubo Michalik was sent off for two bookable offences, two quick fire goals from Bopp and Jones gave the game a false looking score line.
