Former Leeds United defender Paul Connolly could be continuing his career across the Atlantic according to reports.

Sky Sports are reporting that the defender, who was released at the end of last season, is weighing up a move to MLS side New York Red Bulls.

The 29-year-old spent last season on loan at Portsmouth and then Preston North End after being placed on the transfer list.

Connolly spent three years at Elland Road, making 64 appearances.
