Leeds United boss has placed six players on the transfer list with Adam Clayton leading the list of those told they can leave.
Goalkeeper Paul Rachubka, defenders Paul Connolly and Andy Obrien and strikers Ramon Nunez all join Clayton on the transfer list.
Clayton is out of contract in the summer of 2013 and he has been in talks over a new deal. Leeds has cited the demands of the midfielder too high for him to remain at Elland Road and are ready to listen to offers for the 23 year old who made 46 appearances this season.
Rachubka hasn`t been seen in a Leeds shirt since a nightmare performance against Blackpool in November and he has spent much of his time on loan with Tranmere Rovers and Leyton Orient since then.
Connolly has been in and out of the side this season and came in for criticism from Warnock following his sending off against Watford in March.
O`Brien has had a troubled season at Elland Road and he has made just one substitute appearance since refusing to play for former manager Simon Grayson in November.
Nunez has made just ten starts this season and he made just one of those for Warnock when he failed to take his chance in the side against Derby County in April.
Paynter had to wait until March for his second appearance this season after coming off the bench against Southampton on the opening day. He scored twice in his first start for Leeds this season in the 4-1 win over Peterborough in April but he was injured in the following game against Blackpool, which ruled him out for the last two games of the season.
