Leeds United head coach Thomas Christiansen says the side will be looking to bounce back from their disappointing defeat at Wolverhampton Wanderers on Wednesday night when they visit Barnsley this weekend.

Leeds were unable to build on their win against Middlesbrough at the weekend as they were beaten 4-1 at league leaders Wolverhampton. The evening was made worse with Ronaldo Vieira being shown a red card for a second bookable offence.

Christiansen will now prepare his side for the short trip to Barnsley on Saturday and he says they will be looking to bounce back with a win.

“We have a big game on Saturday now against Barnsley, I believe in my team and that we can bounce back and get the three points,” Christiansen told the Leeds official website.

The defeat at Molineux saw Leeds slip from seventh to tenth in midweek but they know a win at Oakwell in the lunchtime kick-off could see them climb back into the play-off places for a few hours at least.
