Leeds United boss Thomas Christiansen will hope to welcome Samu Saiz back into his squad for the clash at Burton Albion on Boxing Day.

Saiz was struggling with a calf injury ahead of the clash with Hull City on Saturday and Christiansen chose not to risk the Leeds playmaker with the busy festive fixture list.

Pierre-Michel Lasogga is pushing for a first start in eight games having returned from injury with a substitute`s appearance against Hull.

Stuart Dallas and Caleb Ekuban remain sidelined for Leeds through injury.

Burton will be without Luke Murphy for the clash against his parent club. Murphy is on a season-long loan at the Pirelli Stadium but he is ineligible for this clash as part of his loan agreement.

Joe Mason and Liam Joyce remain on the sidelines through injury for Burton.
