Vital Leeds looks at the head to head record between Bristol City and Leeds United at Ashton Gate throughout the years.

The two sides have only met on 12 previous occasions with City winning 3, Leeds 4 and 5 draws.

The last time they met was in a League cup tie during the 1997/98 season when City won 2-1.

Despite the defeat for Leeds, they went through 4-3 on aggregate after winning the first leg 3-1 at Elland Road.

This will be the first time they have met in a league game since the opening day of the 1979/80 season when Alan Curtis scored both goals for Leeds in a 2-2 draw.

Leeds have failed to win on their last six visits to Ashton Gate, drawing three and losing three.

Leeds last win was back in the 1955/56 season, when they won 1-0 thanks to a Bobby Forrest goal.

City have kept four clean sheets and Leeds six in their twelve meetings with three of the games finishing 0-0.
