Leeds United travel to St Andrews on Wednesday night to face Birmingham City, with both teams in good form.

The blues are involved in European competition this season after winning last seasons Carling Cup.

They come into this back on the back of five consecutive wins and they are unbeaten in six games.

In all competitions, only two of their last eight games have been at home.

So far this season in the championship at home they have won three and drawn one. They have scored seven goals and conceded just one.

Last time out at home they beat Leicester City 2-0.

In their last game on Sunday, they beat struggling Bristol City 2-0 away from home.

Birmingham are currently in 14th place with 17 points from 10 games. Due to their commitments in Europe, they have three games in hand on most of the teams above them.

The whites come into this game unbeaten in their last seven championship games having won five and drawn two.

So far this season on their travels they have won two, drawn two and lost two.

Their six games away from home this season have seen twenty-five goals with Leeds scoring thirteen and conceding twelve.

In their last three games on the road they have netted three times in each, Brighton 3-3, Doncaster won 3-0 and Peterborough won 3-2.

Leeds have scored in all six of their away games this season.

They are looking to win their third away game in a row for the first time since last season when they beat Middlesbrough 2-1, Scunthorpe 4-1 and Coventry 3-2 between October and November.

Last time out they won at Peterborough 3-2 thanks to an injury time winner. Leeds have now claimed five points this season on their travels thanks to goals in injury time.

In their six away games, they have scored in four of them in injury time.

Leeds are currently in fifth place with 21 points from their 12 games.
