Leeds United head coach Thomas Christiansen could welcome Samu Saiz back into the squad for the trip to Birmingham City.

Saiz has missed the last two games with a calf injury with Christiansen preferring not to risk the Spanish playmaker.

Ronaldo Vieira could be a doubt after suffering a heavy challenge at Burton on Tuesday. The midfielder continued but Kalvin Phillips eventually replaced him.

Caleb Ekuban and Stuart Dallas remain sidelined for Leeds through injury.

Birmingham will welcome Sam Gallagher back into the squad after he served a one-match suspension in the defeat to Norwich City on Tuesday.

Steve Cotterill might look to freshen up his side having replaced both Diego Jota and Cheikh Ndoye at half time in the defeat to Norwich.

Marc Roberts is pushing for a start having returned to the squad against Norwich following injury.

Birmingham have a host of players sidelined with Tomasz Kuszczak, Carl Jenkinson, Che Adams and Isaac Vassell all out.
