Jermaine Beckford who came off the substitute`s bench to fire Leeds to victory on Saturday has been included in this week`s League One team of the week.

Beckford came off the bench after 58 minutes on Saturday with the score at 0-0 and within thirteen minutes had fired Leeds into a 2-0 lead against fellow promotion hopefuls Peterborough United.

His first goal was down to his anticipation around the box after Posh keeper Lewis dropped a free kick and Beckford was quickest to react, his second goal showed his coolness in front of goal after being put through by Trundle, he calmly put the ball past Lewis to claim his 21st goal of the season.

Also included this week was Ian Westlake for who has been released by Leeds this weekend and is staying with Cheltenham Town for the rest of the season after spending the lat two month`s with them on loan.

The team of the week is picked by the press association for the top eleven performing players for their positions each week.
