LUFC – Beckford for player of the month?
Jermaine Beckford has had a fantastic run in March and must be a leading contender for the Powerade League One player of the month.
Beckford who scored his 31st goal of the season against MK Dons on Saturday in only 31 starts this season has also bagged six in five games during the month to help Leeds into the play off positions.
Gary Hooper at Scunthorpe United could be a main threat to his chances, the striker has scored five goals in seven games during the month.
Fellow Leeds player Robert Snodgrass has also had a good month scoring two goals and being at the heart of Leeds creative play setting up a host of goals during the month.
Chris Kamara and a supposed panel of experts will be making the decision in early April although they will name a shortlist for the award first.
